Bio:

Cocophone are an experimental folk band. The band currently consists of founders Freya Monks and Fin Divilly. The instruments used are Guitars and Male Vocals by Fin and Violin, Keyboard, Tambourine and Female Vocals by Freya. With an obsession for guaranteeing the listener both strong harmonized pop melodies and keen poetry, Cocophone to do this by pushing the boundaries of songwriting. This continuous ambition culminated in Cocophone winning the Annual Becks Band of the Year competition in Slane, by the unanimous preference of a judging panel including Lord Mount Charles, his son and Tony Clayton-Lea, music journalist. In addition to this major achievement, Cocophone have had several sold-out gigs in Whelans in the past couple of years.
